I am an Occupational Therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience across community, disability, and aged care settings. I have worked internationally and am registered in the Philippines, New Zealand, and Australia. Since moving to Australia, I have primarily worked within the NDIS and aged care/community sector, supporting both pediatric and adult participants with functional assessments, assistive technology, home modifications, capacity building, and complex report writing.
I also have experience working with older adults through aged care and Support at Home programs, assisting clients to maintain independence, safety, mobility, and quality of life within their homes and communities. My work has included falls prevention, equipment prescription, home safety assessments, manual handling recommendations, pressure care, and supporting clients with progressive or complex health conditions.
I have experience managing diverse caseloads across home, school, clinic, residential, and community environments, and I enjoy building strong therapeutic relationships with clients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams. I am passionate about delivering person- centred, evidence-based supports that promote independence, dignity, and meaningful participation in daily life.
Alongside clinical work, I also have leadership and mentoring experience supporting junior clinicians, contributing to operational processes, and helping improve service delivery outcomes. I value empathy, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous learning, and I am to bringing a positive and supportive approach to both clients and colleagues.
What are your hobbies?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and preparing for our growing family as we get ready to welcome our baby. I love singing and music, as it helps me relax and recharge. I also enjoy home styling and organising spaces, café dates, watching series and movies, and spending time with family and friends. I genuinely enjoy learning and professional growth as well, especially around Occupational Therapy and improving client outcomes.
If you could have any superpower, but only use it once a year, what would you choose?
I would choose the ability to heal or improve someone’s quality of life instantly. Even if I could only use it once a year, being able to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life would be incredibly rewarding. I think it also reflects why I chose Occupational Therapy as a profession – helping people become more independent, confident, and able to participate in things that matter most to them.
